Biography


Sean Austin was born and raised in Mississipi.  Like every little small town in the deep south he was raised in a community rich with faith and neighborly love.  If you ask Sean when he discovered his love of singing he will tell you in his car seat as a baby, he was born to sing.  Heavily influenced by his families love of Sawyer Brown and his Grandmothers favorites Conway Twitty & The Beach Boys Sean’s music influences helped him develop a sound that is familiar to classic country fans.  When Sean was in high school he started writing his songs which referenced his personal life struggles typical of a teenager.  He is a self taught guitarist and was quickly embraced as a solid vocalist in his region after he started performing a local talent shows.  

When Sean was in high school he started writing his songs which referenced his personal life struggles typical of a teenager.  He is a self taught guitarists and was quickly embraced in his region after he started performing a local talent shows.  In 2016 he formed the Sean Austin Band with his band mates Justin Swinney (Lead Guitar), Daniel Horton (Bass), Derrick Bogan (Drums) and Sean on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. 

Sean has opened for Cam, Sawyer Brown, Old Dominion,  Mark Chestnut, Mac Powell & more during his short career. 

In March 2017 Sean signed to Heart Songs Records development platform. He will release his first single May 2017 and his EP in the summer of 2017.
